One of the most talked about bands of Cosmic Puffin 4, we are delighted that My Bad Sister are back for Cosmic Puffin 5.

Just look at them! This is how to get noticed as a band and their act is every bit as indescribable and distinctive as they look.

THE FACTS?

1. When we were born, the hospital got Polly and Sophie mixed up… So no one really knows which twin is older. Polly may have actually started life as a Sophie?

2. Our mum was a notorious travelling dancer which meant we started dancing before we could walk. Even in nappies we had our own dance routines.

3. Sophie broke Polly’s back in three places when she pulled her off the back of a pony at the horse fair our dad used to take us to.

4. From the age of twelve we started fending for ourselves and always looked after our little sister. We’d sing for our supper and soon realised that if she walked around with a hat and a sad face it would always bring in the most mula!

5. Mum used to make us sing on the end of a pier. Our first gig was at nine years old and we got paid in cola. We tap danced and sang ‘Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better’ in cowgirl outfits Nanny made.

6. Polly had a boyfriend first. He and Sophie didn’t like each other at all. He was constantly horrible to Sophie so she cut off his pony tail and torched his Astra when he was asleep.

7. Moving to Zurich in our teens, we squatted an abandoned garage and built our own dance studio where we threw huge parties. This funded our fun for a while but then we got evicted.

9. The cosmos brought us our crew and now together we travel from festival to festival doing what we love best – PARTYING!

10. On our journeys we wrote a load of songs. Hope you like them… Whenever something goes wrong, we always blame it on the other sister. Polly is Sophie’s bad sister and Sophie is Polly’s. That is how we got the name.
