Take the first step to relearning the lost wisdom of your ancestors. The skills and knowledge that will reconnect you to your environment are outside your front door, you just need to know where to look.
Our friendly affordable bushcraft and survival courses are open to anyone with a basic level of fitness, and are an excellent introduction for beginners to the fascinating world of bushcraft.

Willow Phoenix
For Cosmic Puffin 5, Willow Phoenix will be building a willow labyrinth as usual. This will be our fourth year and we have loved every one of them. We have followed our intuition to build labyrinths since 2008, our first was in the Green Futures Field at Glastonbury. In this very special year we have bigger plans than ever before. Some beautiful collaborations with Emily and Green Heart, and working with Jig Cochrane beforehand (www.jigantics.com) will make it bigger, better and brighter. Come and walk it with us.
“Life is a sacred journey. And it is about change, growth, discovery, movement, transformation, continuously expanding your vision of what is possible, stretching your soul, learning to see clearly and deeply, listening to your intuition, taking courageous challenges at every step along the way. You are on the path… exactly where you are meant to be right now… And from here, you can only go forward, shaping your life story into a magnificent tale of triumph, of healing of courage, of beauty, of wisdom, of power, of dignity, and of love.”
–Caroline Adams
Because we know that playing with sticks connects us to nature and makes us happy, we’d love it if you joined us for some willow workshops this year. Try your hand at some sculpture, or lantern making. See you there.
Let your light shine.

THE BODGERS CAMP
Come and see us produce beautifull wooden objects on a traditional pole lathe. Before mechanisation ‘Bodgers’ used these simple lathes to produce the legs and spindles needed for the making of chairs.
We will also be using a selection of period tools to demonstrate other greenwood working skills needed to produce a variety of both usefull and not so usefull items.
We source all our wood localy in a responsible and sustainable manner.
